Cath Kidston PJs

OK, so it's supposed to be spring, and although in Cornwall we haven't suffered the fate of snow, it has been damned cold and wet, so, on that note I thought I'd cheer myself up with a pair of new Cath Kidston PJs in the hope of storing away my winter ones, saying that, I've had to lay my eiderdown back on the bed, so clearly no chance of wearing them any time soon!

"So Shabby Chic"

This is one of my gorgeous new door hangers made by the brilliant 'So Shabby Chic' who I stumbled upon when looking for something to inspire me.
This is doggie number 2 who I love just as much as number 1. If I had more room in my little seaside cottage I'd have one for each door!

Too Cool for Skool

When I think back to my early school days I fondly remember my love for pens, pencils, erasers and sharpners, but the one item I bought in abundance was the pencil case.
I went through most styles - faux fur, Duran Duran ones, tins, long, thin, oversized, plastic character, cat shaped, Coca Cola can shaped, side clipped, buckled and home made, but the one I remember adoring the most was my first wooden pencil box - compact, smooth and neatly tucked into my school bag.
My weird obssession with the pencil case continued way into my thirties, and I'm sure into my forties. With the introduction of Emma Bridgewater and Cath Kidston, why stop, to quote a well used cliche - a habit of a lifetime?
So, when I spotted Belle and Boo's new stationary line, and this cute wooden box, I wondered if I could get away it for myself...
well yes, of course I can and I will - to add to my collection of course!
Have a good one

Toute Allure!

This is the book I'm currently reading. A random purchase from a book shop near to where I work. I saw the title and knew immediately it was for me afterall, what is there not to love about rural France!

Fizz Time

It's been a slightly testing evening, so now the kids are calming down (and me!) I think I'll settle down to a little glass of fi...
